There are many forms of meditation, all of which are ways to calm the mind and body through conscious breathing and learning to be ‘present’.   Some forms of meditation include: guided meditation, creative imagery, moving meditation, Transcendental Meditation, Shamanic journeying, Alpha and Theta state meditation, and dozens of other forms.

Some of the benefits may include lower heart rate and blood pressure, reduced cholesterol, improved immune response, increased awareness, memory and creativity, greater ability to deal with stress, reduced anxiety, help with pain management, and deeper spiritual insights.
